speaking of saving money, $13.99 will be the norm for EFA (Caroline) distributed products in the U.S. hence $13.99 for the new Porter Ricks, new Vulva, all Chain Reaction CD's, etc.... so don't pay the $16.99-$21.99 prices from these speciality on-line shops, when you can get em cheaper at the generic shops!

Yeah, *if* the generic shops do indeed get them. I don't think these CDs will be *that* widespread. Don't think I'll see the Chain Reaction CDs popping up at Best Buy or Tower anytime soon (not that I buy anything from them, but Best Buy has some great deals on blank tapes :-)). I'd like to be wrong, but..... cya brian

I wouldn't be surprised at all... my local Best Buy carries a crapload of techno / electronic stuff, some of it surprising... as long as its distributed by who they purchase through (?) they seem to have it... sure, it sits on the shelf seemingly forever =) Unfortunately, it seems (at least my local one) they have raised the 'standard' prices there though... about a year, even 6 months ago, they carried all domestic cds for $11.99 - $12.99... hadn't been in for a *long* time, but recently went in because I remembered they had carried the metalheadz comp i was looking for... *everything* domestic that wasn't new, cutout or fairly old was $14.99 or up... was cheaper to actually mailorder some stuff i might have once bought there... even MUSICBLVD has em listed for $13.99 and if you've ever checked out their import prices ($27.99, $38.99 etc.) you'll realize that if they can sell em for $13.99 so can the other shops. and I don't think it's a mistake like the Luke Slater-4 Cornered for $10.99 In a message dated 12/12/97 1:31:58 AM, brap@sonic.net wrote:
