Er, the red 12" - "The Beat Is The Law" mix. I've seen a black 12" too though... Looking at the sleeve I notice that 'Mark Brydon' co produced engineered and mixed it. And if I remember correctly, Rob Gordon (of Forgemasters, Black Knight, numerous other projects and with millions of production credits to his name) was the other co-producer. Prior to the House Arrest thing, Mark Brydon was bass player for a Sheffield industrial funk band called Chakk. At one time in the mid-eighties, they were touted as one of the definite Next Big Things out of the city (I seem to think they did some music for... ahem... Miami Vice at one point) - Designers Republic did some of their very earliest work for them. They got a massive advance from MCA, made an album that flopped big time, and spent the cash on founding FON studios in Sheff... which laid the groundwork from which Warp eventually grew. Sheffield industrial funk band called Chakk.< Other ex-members of Chakk are now involved with the acts on Hull's mighty Pork label. Sim Lister who plays sax (I think) is in Heights Of Abraham, and I'm sure there's other involvement too. Damon.
