He's got tracks on both Mo'Wax Headz compilations (on Headz 1, disc 2 and Headz 2, vol? disc?, I forget) which, in addition to the MDI tracks, make me want to hear much more from this guy. The Headz2 track is bannanas - it begins with a pretty standard, you know, mowaxy headnodding beat, but partway through the whole thing falls apart into an ambient blur with a door buzzer-like sound buzzing along in a tentative way, gradually evolving into a beat as a drum track comes back in. It's fucking nutty - but still eerie and chilly. Anyone else have more info about him? Are there Underdog records out there? I asked this same question about a year ago and didn't get many answers besides people telling me that his non-skull work was pretty much "standard hip hop", a description which means nothing to me. -CF
