came into possession of (The) Conemelt's _You Fuckers Fuck_ disk recently - very impressive. some amazingly progressive gear, especially for 1995! then again, _Confuse + Destroy_ is also dated "1995." it must have been an especially fertile year for Grant, Nat, and Ashley. any notable vinyl output before the Flashermac 12"? so... what else has the New Ground label released? anything worth checking out? das v'danya! GuerillaG2-G4/ gg gg2g4ink@sprynet.com np: Major Force West - The Original Artform (Mo'Wax) ... okay, can anyone sum up the [hi]story of these Tokyo turntable terrors?

The New Ground label is owned by Ashley Marlowe, one of the three members of Conemelt. The Corridor 12"s are by all Ashley and his mate Chris. I'm not sure if the Meek, Secret Door and Floating 12"s are Conemelt-related. Another Conemelt related alias is Panash (aka Ashley Marlow). Panash released a 12" called Spare Parts on Weatherall's Special Emissions label. I haven't heard it though. BTW: Conemelt is Ashley Marlowe, Grant Mellors and Nathaniel Hawthorne in case yall wanted to know. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
