the new shop @ the bottom of wardour street is going to be for second hand records to start off with [depending how it goes it will evolve into a new & old store]. there are some people selling off their collections so there will be some good stuff. one of the guys that used to work @ fatcat has becaome an insurance salesman; he's lost all interest in the music and is therefore selling off everything :( london still needs a good store for new stuff__ @ the moment one ends up shopping all over the place. try for excellent mailorder & an unrivalled selection - mark @ hedonizm records - 0181 287 7077 or opposite a strip bar in soho john @ atlas records - 0171 494 0792 vinyl junkies is okay sometimes as is sister ray. mostly buy mailorder [listen down the phone] via hedonizm & hardwax. this way you have a package once a month rammed with stuff. i haven't got the time to keep up with 12 stores @ once. hope this helps__

The saddest sentence I've read in a long while. I *

in london I really enjoyed Big Apple in Croydon. even found the Mr. Fingers with the speech there (jack had a groove...) contact 0 181 686 8786 but the best store on that island is by far Rub A Dub in Glasgow, these guys are really unparalleled, and selling most of the good records to englands underground since fat cats demise. everything new that is good. not arrogant, just down cats. everything from techno back catalog to current electro, techno, jungle, house, dub classics, funk classics & obscurities. these guys are rivaling hardwax right now. I haven't spent that much in a store and been so enthused about it in a very long time. absolute highest recomendation. contact 141 552 5791 141 552 3399 fax RUB-A-DUB RECORDS <sb86@dial.pipex.com> BMG
