Hi, Right - I'm new to this list so I thought I'd introduce myself. Well I'm me and I live in Glasgow. My fave 'intelligent' style is dark drum'n'bass - I love the dark edges and atmospheric sounds that are used and the fact that the artists are never afraid to break new ground and try new stuff. Fave artists are Optical and Technical Itch. So what does everyone think of the style? See Ya Paul

Moving 808's is one of the best tunes I've ever heard in my entire life! Total fucked up-ness, really original sounds and the breaks! What d'ya think of "The Shining" - Optical's release on Metro? It that tune not simple darkness! Don't listen to it in the dark! See ya Paul
