Titonton Duvante & Morgan Geist: Titonion & Morgan 12" (Phono 15)** **(Same as Environ #3 which never got a full release) . Morgan Geist: The Driving Memoirs 2x12"/cd (Clear) . Morgan Geist: Pushed 12" (Multiplex) Comp appearances: . Two tracks on the Martix label compilation CD called "Digital Sects." Morgan used the guise "Faumgeist" here. The tracks are Parturition and Work/4. . One track on the Phono-Version of the Aquarhythms compilation CD under the guise Phenom. The track is Sage. . On the Astralwerks-Version of the Aquarhythms compilation, Morgan does a nice remix of "Deep In the Feeling." There is Morgan Geist compilation album due out soon on the Phono label called "The Thinking Man's Guide to Morgan Geist" that will compile tracks from many of his early 12"s. I think it's excellent. It's very non-abrasive, spacey and lush. All of the tunes seem focused and the lp as a whole doesn't stray much from the scope of melodic ambient and ambient trance (nothing too weird or creepy, nothing too abrasive or cold). Most of the tunes have some sort of vocals, although they are usually soft spoken and seem to be more of a background addition to the music itself. The sound is a but dated by today's fare I suppose, but I've always liked the melodic ambient sound, so no complaints from me. If you like the tracks on the A.D. and Feed Your Head comps, you'll dig the full length. One of my top 10 ambient lps of the year. MC
