Are there any unsigned musicians (be it IDM, drum'n'bass, or whatever) out there on the list? Have any of your recorded anything? Are you into selling or trading tapes/CDs/vinyl of stuff that you've recorded? If so, please let me know! =) I'm really interested in hearing what the 'underground' is doing, as opposed to what's popular these days in the genre. Thanks! -- andrij np :zoviet:france: 'le mur mur nu'

I have a triphopband called Demi-Sick, it's not really dance music, but it's quite intelligent. We use mostly sequences of at least 8 chords, which is (excuse for not being humble) too difficult for most listeners. We have two girl singers, one rapper, two violins, a cello, a sax, a guitar and I do keyboards and drum programming. We started in July and we have already 6 finished songs. We'll probably start doing gigs in May, here in Belgium. I also do some occasional dnb, but I lack time and gear. I play in Boerderij Van Krampen, which is a combination of sampling and live percussion. We only go on stage once a year with one project (that'll be 3rd May this year with a project called Oenderdoenuitskuik Ablamatskam Waapgoerl IV-XI). Finally, I do some occasional stuff with musicians from the (rather small) scene up here, like an acoustic remix of Daft Punk's Around the World. ------------------------------------------------------- Mathias Verraes ET.phone.home@ThePentagon.com Aequalitas haud parit bellum -------------------------------------------------------

Actually, I've just finished a CD-R that I plan to make available over the web in a couple of weeks (at the urging of a few friends) I record experimental/minimal/ electronic/techno music under the guise of 'EFOFEX'. I've got a few samples (MP3 and Real Audio) on my web site. I've been a relatively silent member of the list for about 3 months. Always good reading! Anyway, I was hoping I could get a bit of feedback from some of the list members on my work. I even looking to give away a few (maybe 10 or 15) 'pre-release' copies just to test the waters, so if anyone's interested, be sure to email me. -John -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- resonance.underground http://www.ameritech.net/users/jtalbert/index.html [[ Continuing the tradition of the underground resonance ]] Original IDM/Minimal/Techno samples by EFOFEX MP3/Real Audio Original Kraftwerk MIDI files Music Links mailto:jtalbert@ameritech.net - Get 'Subtracted' -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
