picked up a very cheap of copy of Temple of Transparent Balls - Not consistent but there are four or five stand out tracks which are positively 3D. Managed to pick up Time Tourist (Soma but better), Parallel (not as good as TOTB but a couple of corkers) and Speedy J - Ginger. All for around a fiver each, this stuff seems to be going cheap at the mo. and its good to catch up on the warm analogue stuff. Also bought the evolution natural history comp on Warp , has some good stuff but a bit disjointed really, as soon as a recognised the Aliens soundtrack string byte/sample on one of the Reload tracks it sort of spoilt it for me. Its a bit like the JM Jarre bouncy bass beat on that B12 track and the Eno Atmospheres and soundtracks sample also on Electro soma - too intrinsic a part of the track to be nicked in my view... cheers rA: still looking for a copy of What does your soul look like? Anybody?
