Coldcut & co. are touring the US, the San Francisco stop is supposed to be on Halloween the 31 but no venue is set yet! Are they going to be playing anywhere? I checked at Ticketmaster, but no info found, nothing new on the Ninja page either. Does anyone know if this is still on? Otherwise I'll see if there are any tickets left for the Residents show... =) Thanks all... - Bobby

you should be aware that this is only a small part of funky tekno tribe's (cue massive reverb) TRIBAL MASSIVE...with a whole fuck-off rave's worth of other performers. i'm dissappointed, as i would rather have dropped $15 and seen the ninjas in a smaller (closer to SF) venue without the 8000 e'd-up 16-yr-olds but hey you take whatcha get eh? mikebee

yup, its actually an insanely large event... i posted the snippet from SFRaves Calendar of a more complete line up... I'd love to see the ninja's (Fila Brazilla especially!) but this is just too much for myself to handle (mr antisocial) Chris brap@sonic.net http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ Black Dog, Whitezone-L, Music Search Engine, etc. C.Gosselin, PO Box 8264, Santa Rosa, CA 95407

Geeeez ... will ya listen to these old fart whining weezers? :-) I'm driving up to SF to spend the night with 7,000 of my closest (E'd-up 16-yr-old) friends that night ... last year's Funky Techno Tribe Halloween party was easily the best rave I attended all last year ... totally mental. If you old groaners wanna see Coldcut & Co. in an intimate locale, drive down here to LA afterwards and see 'em at the (groan) Troubadour on the 2nd. (Although I think Fila Brazillia are playing in LA on the 30th; they're not touring with Coldcut, Koala & co.) I'd far rather see Coldcut & co. at a big fun fuck-off event than at the shitty Troubadour with half the crowd standing around shuffling their feet. And given that half the time we folks here have to drive 60 miles inland to San Bernardino for "big fuck-off events", no fair bitching about having to cross a measly bridge over to Oakland Mike :-P hehe - Greg
