Agreed. Kid Koala is the best thing to come out of Montreal since i've been here. The attitude thing adds volumes to his performance. Its all too often that i see DJ's just standing around between sets or not putting across a good vibe during(this is totally dependant on how you work...some people simply are too focused to appear "into" the music...). Kid Koala dances and hops around during his sets, is always smiling and during other dj's sets he runs around looking absolutely happy as can be. After the show, he mingled, and, surprisingly, started up a conversation with me after seeing that i was staring at him(i couldnt' figure out if it was him or not)out of the blue. Such amazing enthusiasm is soooo important for the public's view of a performer. Hats off! Ali "It means we'll manage I'll master your language And in the meantime I'll create my own" (Tricky)

Let me preface by saaying I was extremely disappointed that the bill clearly lists DJ Food as performing, but no incarnation of the Black/Moore team manifested outside of the Coldcut set, which I must say was as lively as watching paint dry. If the show could be looked at as more of a big house party/rave situation, it could be described as enjoyable (it was cool to hear the album at such high volume and see the videos on large screens), but as a "concert" it was a very lackluster performance (they looked more bored than I was with their set). HOWEVER, enough cannot be said about the incredible performance put on by Kid Koala. Its hard to bob your head with your jaw constantly hanging open, put somehow I managed anyway. Not only was he an awesome performer, but he clearly had a very cool attitude; hanging out in the crowd between sets, taking pictures of the audience duing his mix, and at one point forcing a particular couple to waltz to a slow jam. Both he and DJ Food are selling mix tapes on tour, the Kid Koala one being incredibly short, and while thoroughly enjoyable, not really carrying across his amazing talent, and the DJ Food one is extremely long, and chock full of sweet beats. I was disappointed they weren't selling the "Yes, Mate!" sweattops at the show, but it was a good kick-in-the-ass to order one direct. latah, clockwise

It's been stated on this list many, many times that DJ Food live is just PC & Strictly Kev. More & Black are studio-only members. Sorry your expectations got in the way. My experience has been that expectations are a great liability when taken to live performances - it's best to leave them at home. Che

Well, then PC & Strictly Kev shouldn't have been listed seperately from DJ Food on the ticket.
