Just got this in the mail, and I think it's worth checking out. Reinterpretation of the classic 60's psychedelic rock hits, "Psyche Rock", "Too Fortiche", & "Jericho Jerk", by the likes of William Orbit, Fat Boy Slim, Coldcut, Tek 9, Funki Puncini, and more. This is chop shop music at its best. Nice sounds, loose compositions, odd transitions with a tendency to get funky. Fans of the the "Sound Gallery" compilation and.... uh... good electronic stuff, should take note. The William Orbit mix is ace. Kind of like taking two tapes, one with Psyche Rock on it, the other with heavy, chunky electronic sounds, and a pair of scissors to make something that will put a smile on your face. One of the few cd's I've had the patience to actually listen through all the way on the first run. enjoy t.S.o.G.
