There are already some guys in their "not quite spring chicken" years making this stuff: Juan Atkins, Richard Kirk, Alex Patterson, Mark Gage, and a few others are in their late thirties / early forties. And geez, how old is Steve Hillage? :) -d.w.

Given as it's another year-marking day for me (geez, as old as Jack Benny ... ) today, this seems topical :-) Erm, anyway ... two words: "Bruce Gilbert" (51 years young) - Greg P.S. I think Hillage is around 46. And he and Miquette absolutely rocked it at the L.A. Big Top tour stop. Wonderful performance.

Also how were those tool shed performances of his from awhile back? Some other geezers not to forget about are the Cluster "boys". They must be getting up there by now. Amazingly, they stopped in Tucson, AZ on their U.S. tour and it was nice to see the ancients rockin' the place in their ambient way. | E r i c | [mail] franse@engr.arizona.edu | | F r a n s | [web] http://engr.arizona.edu/~franse | "The comfort you demanded is now mandatory!" - Jello Biafra
