i have seen a soundcard for sale on one of the internet auction places for less than $20... it is the Epoch SoundPro:
quoted 5 lines Full Duplex 3D Wavetable Sound Card by Sound Pro>>Full Duplex 3D Wavetable Sound Card by Sound Pro >> Product Features: >> Full duplex for simultaneous playback and record >> ISA bus Plug and Play, device support: SB16, WSS, MPU-401, Game >> Support 44.1k Digital Audio (SPDIF)In/Out
plus a bunch more that i cut out... but.. what the hell!? a full duplex, sb16-compatible sound card w/ digital i/o for less than $20, made by some unknown Taiwanese co.? i asked the retailer about it and he said that it did indeed have those features listed... yes it is fully sb16 compatible, but he also went on to say most are .. ? can anyone confirm/deny this? chris graves
