Funk is a 70's concept, that yuppies like to collect on compact disc re-issues, and precious people shake their rumps to!!!!!!!!***!!!! ohhh man, well you obviously aint ever shaken your rump to any decent funk if you think that! Funk is not a 70s concept ... funk is one big warm deeeeelicious grooove that your bod just slinkslides into, effortlessly, gorgeously ... puts toots in yer boots, sex in your lex and gets you deep down, dirty & funky, lost inside the muscle of the beat ... like no other music can ... the sexxxxiest, naughtiest music on da planet, well if you're into dancin i guess! and dancing is soooo revealing I think, sorts out the lightweights from the hardcore instantly and that ol maxim about 'You can tell what a person's like horizontally by how they .....' is verrry true, methinks! If you aint got da funk .... well .... Aless and I'm off out to "shake my precious rump" to some tonight cos Talvin usually has some funk mixed in with Drum'n'bass and the sounds of the Asian Underground down Anokha and I aint some bleedin yuppie, so there wif knobs on!

y'all reading through the same eyeglass or something. funk is an attitude, but i despise all the cruddy associations that get lumped in with! around my parts, at least, if you go to some nights you'll see the same old people pretending to be all that. white guys wearing afros, tight shirts, and flared cuts from revival shops getting busy (wishing they were puffy coombs on pay tv doin' the shack up business). oh gee. defunct punk mothers ain't got the right. they don't know that funk starts with a "P", nor how to give the drummer some! and then the women wearing the same black mini's shuffling around like a couple of sea lions.. there's plenty of sexy shit like Green Velvet, Freddie Fresh, Woody McBride, Masters at Work, and on so why look back and settle for any less? maybe so those who move too slow and feeble, will not feel out of place..
