From Brian (regarding the recent machine swap/move to qmail) explaining
the IDM digest trouble.
"Archiving and digests had been not working since the transition. It's
entirely my fault; I had put "-archive" and "-digestify" entries in each
of your mailing lists, yet the script I wrote to feed addresses to qmail
removed them because they didn't have "@hyperreal.org" attached. Grrrrr.
It's working now, and as of now..."
Thanks to all of you who pointed me (us) toward the problem. Remember if
you think that something is amiss, don't hesitate to contact
idm-owner@hyperreal.org. I actually prefer you direct problem reports
there rather then the entire list. (For obvious reasons).
The digest you all recd recently was a "forced" digest by me and actually
lead us to the conclusion that the list was not properly digesting! I'll
think about a way to bring those missing digesters up to speed, until
then ...resume your mail bombing! ;-)
