The new single from Richard is up at warpnet, including a video (.ra) I thought he didn't listen to "rock"- this sound like a track from Moby's Animal Right LP. The rest of the ep is nothing like this.... all the other tracks are similar / as good as girl/boy EP and the LP. Steve /k/./F/

Ok a quick review. First reaction. Rock and then I thought no thats not quite right. Then I thought ministry but no thats not right either. Not fast and furious enough. Then it hit me. Prodigy. The vocals have to be inspired by Breathe. And the music is well, prodigy like. Not very good at all. A little amusing but not enough. I hope the rest of the ep is better. We shall see. My roommates reaction: ahhhh I see Aphex wants to make some money now. Should be perfect, appeal to all those proto ravers who idolize the prodigy. n.p. The Orb -Oxbow lakes - cd single.

I haven't heard it yet, but it sounds to me like Aphex is doing this tongue in cheek just to prove how simple it is ... It's his sick, twisted sense of humor. I dig it! markw@southwind.net

Taken in context, I think this track works quite well. The RDJ pisstake on the prodigy and digital hardcore. I really don't see this track doing to well in the mainstream or on mtv. there's a full single CD release coming out... but since I have seen it listed as LIMITED EDITION I doubt it's the U.S. one, so I think WARP might be releasing both the 2 CD version and a special limited 1 CD version. marketing ;P

hey all. i just picked up come to daddy. it's the warp version, but all 8 tracks are on a single CD, and the cat is wap94cdx. is this a limited edition or something? i don't remember reading anything about it on warp's page. am i lucky? picked up cichlisuite, too. from future sounds. it *is* a great little shop. www.dhp.com/~futursnd anway, just wondering. glad i was able to get it all on one disc before oct 21. only $13.99, which is probably close to what sire will charge for it anyway... alan!
