Pardon the for the most part off topic nature, but i thought a few may be interested... Im auctioning the below. Feel free to forward any questions privately to dahtbig@earthlink.net -Thad Realistic brand "Portiplay" AC/battery powered portable radio phonograph player. Looks sorta like a lunch box w/handle, it has a plastic casing with a detatchable side/top, underneath which is the turntable, arm and needle, built in speaker, and controls for RPM(33/45/78!!!). Above this is the switch for selecting between radio and phono, as well as the AM Radio dial and volume dial. On the otherside of the case is a detatchable panel behind which lies the battery compartment (4 D batteries, making it fully portable!) as well as an AC cord. Finally there is a switch to choose which power supply to use, and an output jack for headphones/speakers. All is in very good operating and cosmetic shape (the arm has at some point acquired some tape and two pennies to help weight the needle- this could easily be removed if so desired). These portable turntables in such good shape are both rare and quite sought after... Highest bidder must pay an additional shipping charge of $8 in the USA, or a fee to be arranged if outside the USA. Money order only. If you have any questions, please email dahtbig@earthlink.net http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=277861582 --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
