i wonder which one it was that he (vibert) spun at organic in Los Angeles? I'm sure he played "original control" out, but I don't think it was his remix from original fire. I just read the article at borders. Definatly something to browse fast in the store, as chris said, rather than to buy. Single page spread with a picture and small article. This hip hop mix sounds very interesting indeed though. "Fucked up swing beats", yow! Grant you really ought to see about getting this one up on the page -- Luke seems to like it enough. It's on the double vinyl promos Nothing put out, no idea why it didn't make it on the release. I prefer it to the d n b mix as well. Joe

Anyone feel like making an mp3 of it? *please* Also, anyone know a software that will decode mp3's to wav file format? Just wondering... I did a couple of mix sets that I was editting on my harddrive and thought it would be keen to try and slide in a few tunes that I have only in mp3 format... can't use that, so really want to decode 'em... mp3 really isn't my thing, so I just don't know... Yep. L3ENC the name. Maybe you heard of it. It's one of the first pieces of software to encode mp3 tracks. It has a decode feature too. You can find it at ftp.fhg.de.

Have fun, sounds interesting what you are doing. I've often thought that if I was a DJ I'd do all my stuff from mp3 files, god everything can be done with computers (cept scratching and pitch bends)! Oh one last thing when decoding have ~10 megs of space per minute of music, cause that's about how much it takes. Rusty
