Maxwell House is the work of Max Brennan. Max has done a fair amount of stuff recently. Here are a few of his releases: . Maxwell House: II CD/2x12" (Peacefrog) . Max Brennan: No Such Thing 12" (Phono) . Max Brennan: Omega Point 12" (Sublime) . Maxwell House: Sparticas CD/2x12" (Peacefrog) . Fretless AZM: Asrtral Cinema CD/ 2x12" (Holistic) I think there is another Fretless AZM lp on holistic too but i foret the name right now. The musical styles on the above releases range from trip hop to funky electronica to downtempo experimental house. All are recommended. My fav is the Omega Point 12" on Sublime. -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states

three others, actually. and a bunch of singles ("Brass Lines and Basses," etc) i've been slobbering about the brilliant Brennan on this list for ages. Fretless AZM: Ultimate Maxploitation: Sunday Afternoon Barbeque Music (ABCD003) Fretless AZM: From Marz With Love (HOL CD024) Fretless AZM: Distant Earth (singles comp) (HOL CD026) and don't forget (one of) his other alias(es), UNIVERSAL BEING Universal Being - s/t (HOL #?CD) Universal Being - Jupiter (HOL CD025) Universal Being - The Archives (singles comp) (HOL CD028)

the 1st Maxwell House LP (self-titled, btw) is really where it's @. but everything Brennan touches has turns to gold. heard he has a track on an upcoming "Invisible Soundtrack" 12" on Leaf. and i pleaded with DJ Morpheus to include him on a future Freezone. such a perfect match! sidenote: anyone find an uncanny similarity between the art for _Chiastic Slide_ and the sleeve design of Fluke's _Risotto_? uncanny... DR strikes again? GuerillaG2-G4/ gg np: gravediggaz - the pick, the sickle, and the shovel (gee street/v2)
