Well, if you wanna climb aboard da funky Mothership man, then yehhhh!
Hardcore Jollies is a bit rockier and I dooooo prefer the earlier stuff but
for $4.99, well you aint gonna be skinned! Saw George Clinton play at
Phoenix festie 2 years ago, with lots of the ol Funkadelic krew and despite
the heavens opening and soakin us all, twas one blindin, holy unforgettable
experience!
Bootsy played the same festie in the Jazz tent and NEVER, ever, EVER in all
me life have I seen a crowd take off like that! Thought the jazz tent was
just gonna swizzle off deliriously, into orbit, everyone was funkin it down
soooo hard, twas like the whole tent was bouncing! Me and me pals were on
the front row and all the Scottish posse were going totally mental besides
me, all of us funkin it right up and out of our heads, everyone with the
huuuuugest grins on our faces ... awww Bootsy ... Wot a geeezer! Him and
George Clinton, they still DEFINITELY got da funk man, aint noone out there
to touch em! Respect!
oh yeh and remember, Officer Doodie rates these albums!
Aless
ps: you got me in da funky mood now man, gonna have to go & give em a play
again, funk it right down in da music room!
