Thanks to Lance and to kar120c and others for the Nev reviews. I too have been waiting a long time for the 'Inside Nevsound' album on GPR (I've said so here before many times!) What did everyone think of the new (old) GPR comp 'Digital Millennium'? I liked the Nev track 'trowave' very much, and some of the others.. but much I had already heard much of it (or already own some of it in my collection)
quoted 5 lines for all you obsessive types there is also a nev track on transatlantic>for all you obsessive types there is also a nev track on transatlantic >express vol.1 and there is the pre-gpr "how deep can you beep" 12" (good >luck)...for the really obsessive there is a nev mix on the vapourspace >"vista humana" 12" but i forget if it's on the promo FFRR, the offical >FFRR, or the vapour release - hell, maybe its on all three.
Yeah, all great stuff (also the excellent Nev track on 'Equanimity' AND, to be super obsessive regarding the Vapourspace remixes, there are two different mixes; one on the US release, and one on the UK release (although I think they share the same title) I like the UK a bit better. Does ModernMusic have some of the old Nev releases? I gotta check their site to see what else they have. -fred
