[ I'm sure our European and Australian friends are loving this thread. - Ed. ] In case any of you - San Franciscans, wealthy ISP owners (hehehehe), etc. - are still pondering whether to hop in your cars or catch a plane out here to Los Angeles for Organic ... Organic is still happening. The hours are now from 6 PM to 6 AM, instead of being from 3 PM to 8 AM which is what they were supposed to be up at the Snow Valley ski resort. Presumably, lopping off 5 hours' worth of time will affect the schedule in some way. Or they might split the acts in half because of the two buildings available to use, which would royally suck. Because of the fires in the mountains not too far from Snow Valley, and because (at the time) we thought the hurricane fed by the El Nino was going to dump loads of rain on us and bring cold to the mountains, the Organic promoters chickened out and moved the event down to the National Orange Show in San Bernardino (at the base of said mountains). It's a safe location, but played out and boring at this point. Sigh ... and of course I'm sure there's no problem with the aftermath of the fire and the weather in the mountains is just fine now ... :-( The final lineup: Main stage: ----------- Sneaker Pimps Aphex Twin Guadaloop Talvin Singh Supersonic ["formerly known as Supercharger UK"] The Crystal Method Faithless Main stage DJ's: Luke Vibert David Holmes Josh Wink Derrick Dahlarge Justin Robertson [so it appears it's not Lionrock playing live. - Ed.] DJ Q Jonny L MC Jason Bentley The local-yokel areas: System #2 (Funky breaks): ------------------------- Liquid Todd Gary Richards (DJ Destructo) Alien Tom The Bud Brothers John Kelley System #3 (House): ------------------ Mark Lewis JJ Brown RTR System #4 (Drum n' Bass): ------------------------- Raymond Roker (Urb magazine, Science) Jun (Science) Curious Machete Helix Info: (213) 960-5077 (619) 492-8097 (909) 424-5024 (714) 647-5592 Crystal Method and Faithless were just added; the rumored addition of Leftfield never materialized. - Greg

I forgot to mention that Brian Transeau (BT) has also been added as well. Sorry 'bout that ... Off I go to San Berdoo, - Greg
