Just to let you know what we have been playing on the old Wheels of STEEL!!!!! STEEL!!STEel!!STeel!!steel!! (echo effect) Maybe it will bring up some different topics on this list to talk about. Plus it would be nice to see some other play list out on this list. We never see any pop up anymore. What? Is everyone in the closet about what they play at home??? Shit last night we had "The Jazz Singer" record on!!! "Love on the Rocks" and shit. 1. Interstellar Fugitives (UR) Every track is a classic!!!! 2. Thomas P. Heckmann (Trape 0019) all tracks 3. Skam 10 all tracks 4. No Good & Jiggie "Lizard Lizard" (Luke Records) Good Miami Bass 5. Eurythmics "Touch Lp" "Here Comes the Rain Again" /"Paint A Rumour" (Good programming!!!) 6. Yellowman "Don't Burn it Down" For Don & his silent bro. 7. Kosmik Kommando "Freaquenseize" (Rephlex) 8. Dr.Dre "Chronic 2001" (Aftermath) The last song on the record will just make your whole crew cry. 9. Influx 12" (Isophlux) Just put it on after three years and glad we put it out. 10. Starfish Pool 10" our good friend Koen just sent us this. Thank you K.!!!! :) This is not a top ten list but just music we find jumping on the turn tables lately. Sorry it ain't all IDM but everyone needs to come up for air and to get some color. Isophlux Oh! and N.P.!!! just so happens, i had a lovely & impromptu friday evening. following a delightful italian dinner, we warmed up with the choicest snippets of the i-f mix cd and then it got really fun: <the highlights> abba 'take a chance on me' donna summer 'bad girls' michael jackson 'burn this disco out' bee gees 'the woman in you' and some choice bits of 'Ronco presents FAR OUT' eventually the dj was asked to play some electro (and i was given specific orders to pick up more disco), and she moved into anthony rother/the viewlexx and hotmix pile/dmx krew/lenny dee/egyptian lover/carl finlow... ...and so on and so forth. and then the dj had to go home, and we were all out of wine so it was off to bed. all present agreed that the dutch and the germans are a lot of fun and we'll have to do it again very soon. s., who has plenty of color and the cheesy records to enjoy it np: def leppard 'high 'n dry' backed by the sounds of I-5 On Sat, 4 Mar 2000, isophlux wrote: <snip, snip>
