For that matter, does anyone know where i can get the other non-jamie freerange releases?? Despite a few Jimpster-bashing posts in response to my last message on him. I'm gonna have to go with mmm on this one, as the tracks on "martian arts" (the cd on instinct) are just great. Does this contain all the tracks from the first three Freerange releases? Is there any reason to get the Freerange 01-03 if i've got this?? see ya, mult. http://members.aol.com/multsanta/

AS far as I know, this new Jimpster isn't out yet. The Cd contains all the tracks from the singles. You might want to check out the remix of DK Finn on Freerange or the Reverie single too, it's all good shit. mikebee <mB.twenty-first century soul. <mikebee@freenet.tlh.fl.us.

are you refering to the one on Instict Electronica? if you are, it's out... along with the Jammin' Unit, Kosma, various sampler CD's... they all have the same "glitter" CD thing... )not too sure myself about that) ...with no cover booklet, just a sleeve that covers the case in the middle. Let's give the thing its name : Martian Arts, out on Instinct dated 1997 and available here (in South Arica) since July. Is this the "new" one you are referring to? (I thought we were miles behind everybody else out here !) Yes, it is just as described above - irritatingly 'novel' packaging in a normal plastic transparent jewel-case, with this wrap-around slip over cardboard cover that goes around the middle of the CD case and needs to be removed before taking out the disc. This will, no doubt, be very unenduring before looking tatty, worn and scuffed. Pity about that. Especially since it's got the tracklisting printed on the back of this slip-on cover. Ah well, marginally better than a digi-pak [sigh]. Personally, I like that shimmery shiny prism-y stuff on the CD itself. Why not :-) I * "Incomplete without surface noise" - Autechre
