I know many people on the list might not be into the Tresor releases but I was hoping for some recommedations. I'm mainly interested in full length releases and compilations at this point but any must have 12"s would be interesting as well. Email in private unless there seems to be interest from the list. Thanks Chris

'Atlantis' by X-103, written and produced by Jeff Mills, is on my short list of the all-time great techno albums. Pow Wow licensed it from Tresor for US release, so it's fairly easy to find, for stateside listeners. Tresor is a great label if you are into beat-heavy detroit techno. Artists who have recorded on this german label read like a who's who in techno with everyone from jeff mills to rob hood to christian vogel to juan atkins to si begg to surgeon to neil landstrumn. There is a ton of tresor stuff out there in varying techno styles. So favs would be hard to pick. My suggestion is to pick up any of the five tresor cd compilations to get a taste of many of the tresor artists and releases. For an early, but rather outdated, tresor discography point your browsers to: http://www.hyperreal.org/music/labels/tresor/tresor.html Hope this helps! -->-Lance--- p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states
