The first time I listened to Chiastic Slide, I didn't like it as much as other Autechre releases. It's really grown on me, though.. the noisiness of it. There are some points, though, where I keep wishing it would speed up and get crunchier. Does anyone have any suggestions for something _like_ Chiastic Slide but faster and harder and noisier?

I'd recommend Speedy J's "Public Energy Number 1" ROB **********LOGIQ'S NEW CD**************** BIG ON MARS 11 Tracks of Electronic Bliss http://www.sinless.com/logiq ****************************************

check out some of the experimental gear from parmegiani or francois bayle on the ina label, it's where autechre are heading, and when you consider that these guys were doing it in 1985 and before (infact long before), you've got to hand them some respect also leo annibaldi's 'void' might be up your street cheerio! np - pas de voix - charles amirkhanian ----- -------- ELTON WELSBY RECORDS, jazz-funk to whiten your spunk http://www.sub-con-geo.demon.co.uk/migration.ram ----- --------

very good release, but we aware that earlier stuff is ACID. (which I like, like "Cannibald", but it's different than "Void")

(which I like, like "Cannibald", but it's different than "Void") I picked up a 12" called something like block " part 1 and 2 " probably one of the best dark ambient 12"'s I have heard in a long time and it's by leo anibaldi. definitaly a 12" inch to keep an eye out for... I didn't really care for void that much but it did have afew good tracks..If your looking for faster and more abrasive though look for " industrial folk songs " by cylob on rephlex or the muoara 12" that contains tracks by aphex twin, autechre, ?, and ectomorph.. definitly very abrasive. where ? = I-f Ferenc. Certainly a name I would pair with the likes of Leo and not because of his affinity for things Italian. Most recently his output falls smack dab in the middle of the IDM highway, splattering beats and minimal electronics shining the lights to cast some serious new wave shadows. A trainspotters nightmare at often times *TRULY* limited release numbers of 100, 303, and *maybe* 500. I-f details can be found here -> http://acidplanet.nl.com/ Teep
