they stated there would be a METAMATICS CD RELEASE, not that it was the LIMITED EDITION 12"s on the CD, at the very beginning. I also received an email from Clear way back when (which I wish I saved) admitting that they did not release that info at the time of the first limited 12" release, but at the 3rd 12" release (notice all the #3 & #4 12"s still readily available?!) and the only people that MAY have known about the CD release are the people that received white label promos... they also said they released the material true what what they were given as master tapes. (whatever that has to do with it)
