I'm listening to Black Dog's _Music for Adverts (and short films)_ presently and was struck with the thought that the first track, "Dumb & Dumber", is a direct stab at the Plaid boys. The track seems deliberately different than the other tracks in a not-so-good way... Anyone else out there make this connection? Maybe this has been mentioned already on the list during the heated Black Dog vs. Plaid wars, but I don't recall. My goal here is not to recreate that thread again, but just to see if others read this into that track also. E-mail me privately, if you wish, to keep things under control. ;) | E r i c | [mail] franse@engr.arizona.edu | | F r a n s | [web] http://engr.arizona.edu/~franse | "The comfort you demanded is now mandatory!" - Jello Biafra

Dunno about the backbiting. It's a great joke, though. What kind of asshole would use a canned string section sample to play a walking bass? Seriously, I mean... it's wicked funny!
