Swift, Steve D, Apollo and others)
Battle Sounds is a film and video collective consisting of over 180 hours
of interviews and performances focuing on the history of styles & trends of
Hip-Hop Deejaying, as well as a look at the motivation behind these
talents. Various rough cut versions of the program have been screened at
The New Museum of Contemporary Art (NYC), Urban Skillz (Switzerland),
Planet Hollywood (Australia) and The Whitney Museum of American Art (NYC).
In October it will be screened at Barnard College (NYC).
