and the skampler is that all black cd i got, btw... ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 09 Sep 1997 01:34:38 -0400 From: Pacman <pacman@CYBERNEX.NET> Subject: (idm) mu-ziq in NYC Oh man. Mu-Ziq hit Kim's in NYC today .. and I got there, about 5 minutes after his set was over. So, I can't comment on it. But I got some other stuff to say. I remember reading on here back before Lunatic Harness came out, some people with the promo or something said something to the extent of, "huh, this is weird, the first couple tracks on here are house. You can look at the record and see the curling spiral because of the steady rhythm." Anyway, after getting my Salsa with Mesquite signed, I figured I'd ask the man what that was all about, and he said that there were 500 printed like that, some printing error, and he didn't know they got out or anything; thought they had been destroyed. So, if anyone here's got one of those, that's why it's like that. Then I asked him if I should buy the Skampler, and he said yes. So I did. Oh, and he corrected my pronunciation of Jega, too. Good guy. Had a Ni Go Snix shirt on. I think that's all that happened, in my afternoon with Mu-Ziq. noah np: Skampler ------------------------------ ______________________________________ christopher graves grav / krac5 ______________________________________
