Almost ALL burning software will let you select between DAO (disc-at-once/No
gaps) and TAO (track-at-once/Gaps) writing. Some use DAO as default and some
don't, but there are very few programs which won't let YOU choose. It's
definitely a software thing. In order to burn DAO, you must first rip tracks
to your hard drive (which means you'll need space to do so) or at least make
an image. Adaptec's EZCDCD 3.5 does a pretty good job (despite what some
people may tell you) as does CRWin. CD Architect does an even better job
(especially if you have Sound Forge on your system...great editing
capabilities). Nero isn't too shabby, either.
