Hi again slick. Nice to see that rather then respond to a private
message, you dragged it back out into IDM. Very mature of you.
List members, this WILL be the last post from me on this subject. :-)

Unfortunately, you were operating under semi-false pretenses. It IS
about 'the musicians', on one (small) level, but mostly it's for ALL
list members to discuss the MUSIC they love/hate.
Big difference as not ever person subscribed is a 'musician'.

Well if you don't listen to reason, what IS supposed to happen?
I'd imagine that every new subber reads the idm site on hyperreal AND
gets a copy of the FAQ. If new listers would read these documents, wait
a while and watch the dynamics of the list before posting, using a bit
of restraint should save ANYONE a bit of bashing.
But no...some people don't EVER listen what anyone has to say.
And I've been saying this shit for months.
Anyone remember recent the mass exodus of old school list members?

It's NOT your enthusiasm that's the problem here slick.
Here's a little analogy that I sent to slick that I guess he didn't
quite understand...some of you other offenders might:

This is the way unmoderated mailing lists are kept in check.
By public rule/debate.
If you piss off enough people, you will be bashed.

'Slick' is not your real name.

Um, actually, no.
This has nothing to do with personal reasons.
I even said that I've been 'nice' so far because he a co-worker of a
friend.
The funny thing is that I downloaded all of 'slicks' music at HIS
private request, months ago. I found it lacking then and still do,
enough so that I deleted them all after first listen.
I ignored the fact that every post slick made to IDM was a BSP.
And even sillier, every time I'd make a post about listmember artists
spam, slick would immediately come back with one of his 'deadpan'
bullshit posts, which I find EXTREMELY disrespectful.
Thru conversations with slick's co-worker, I've had some insight into
his 'tastes' and that of his partner. I also happen to know what gear
he favors and what he doesn't. Hence the tongue in cheek nickname.
I'd say that all these things make my comments based on something a bit
sharper then 'pure ignorance'.

I apologize also, for having to constantly repeat myself.

That's what we've been doing long before you were around.
brock.
