Somewhat new to idm...both the list and the subgenre. Just received "The Knights Who Say Dot" in trade, and... where have I been? Not only would I like to know if all of Dot's output is this rhythmically and melodically inventive, but would also like recommendations of similar material on any label. I'm getting the same sort of buzz from this that I get from my favorite Jonah Sharp discs, and I don't make such comparisons lightly. regards, Lauralee rainbird@blarg.net

Buy the New Hab album 'MaPod'. I don't know how similar it is to the compilation, since I still haven't gottin' around to pick it up, but this Hab album kicks. Also, the 'Skampler' cd might also be your cup of tea as well, I've heard it somewhat similar to the Dot's output. AtL-5

I wouldn't say really that I feel that Dot output is that similiar (really at all) to Skam stuff... its that good (if not better), but fairly different. Jesus, I don't even know what I'd call my Dot stuff... fucking amazing?
