Wow. I'm very impressed. The quality of warpmart's service makes me feel bad for the leigons of IDMers who can't experience the site due to browser incompatability. You are truly missing out + I hope [soon] that warp will change their pseudo-elitest ways and allow all users to buy warp gear. *boxy space pack record bag weird. dark lavender shade; a color truly worthy of the word 'blech.' japanese "warp" logo. holds about 50 platters without bulging. odd velcro strap that goes across your left shoulder. very, erm, boxy. i'd never wear it outside of the house, but it stores all my rarely-played records under the bed quite nicely. *gadget bag ah, this is more like it. black shoulder bag, with orange japanese "warp" logo and a word or two about being reasonable. pockets and secret compartments everywhere. doesn't hold a whole lot of twelves, but it's comfortable and functional. *slipmats nothing really outstanding. actually, not quite as nice as i was suspecting. little amounts of fuzz make them tolerable. "we are reasonable people" resemble the labels to early warp eps. "warp logo man" is the character on the homepage on a blech purple background. serious trainspotters only. *boys t's rather nice; smooth fabric. doesn't shrink in the wash. most artist/label related t's are really rough. these t's feel good. *girls t's my, these things are tiny. gonz would love them. smaller than most girl tees, even. again, smooth fabric. smoother than the boy tees. girl's shirts have odder slogans than the men's. perfect gift for bewildering your girlfriend. *goodies i got loads of stickers, for hard normal daddy, now, and blech. 4 blech cutout action figures, featuring sissy, the blech boy, and the blech bot. also got a promo of the new autechre ep. nice gesture from warp. *records vinyl packaging rivals that of modern music's. everything's in perfect condition. a surprise : i ordered the SAW triple pack for no good reason - and i was sent the limited edition brown vinyl version - complete with aphex stickers! i didn't know these were still around! *discs in extra protective packaging. shrinkwrapped jewel boxes. perfect condition. *service warpbot confirmed my order within five minutes, notified me of it's dispatch 6 days later, and arrived in my mailbox in less than a week! amazing! *price music was cheap, considering most of the stuff is relatively hard to find. mats + dj bags were moderately priced. t-shirts a bit hefty, but look sexy on the right girl :) **overall one of the best shopping experiences on the net. start sending email to greg + pushing for complete compatability! g.

Hmmm... I am incredibly jealous of all you possessing a credit card!! I understand WHY Warp opts to accept credit card orders only, but no one can force me to like it. Unfortunately, I can 100% guarantee that I shall NEVER receive a credit... oh well, thus is life... could you possibly get a checking account with a visa check card? It works just like a credit card but debits the ammount from your checking account... instead of credit. The thing is almost *too* easy to use. The credit card machine at my favourite record store knows my card very well... (not a good thing). I have used the card in place of my credit card at a few mail order places with no adverse side efects (except the strangest thing, I end up with less money in my checking account...?). Just a thought, Hess

Dare to dream =) I've messed my credit up fairly permanantly and was denied even this. Amazing, but true. Chris brap@sonic.net http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ Black Dog, Dot, Genesis P-Orridge, Whitezone-L, etc. C.Gosselin, PO Box 8264, Santa Rosa, CA 95407

Here's my swing on Warpmart's service. Ordered two CD's. Both came in thin cardboard packaging. Of course it was opened before it arrived at my doorstep. They weren't shrink wrapped either. The cases were smashed to bits-n-pieces, which I replaced @ the price of $1. Vinyl arrived fine though, shrink wrapped. I can't be the only one who has had this problem ordering from warp mart. Oh, yeah I did get those cool little cutouts, but no Autechre Promo EP. : ( you wrote:

I'm not overly impressed, maybe it's cause I got no promo. I will order again though.

What's the ep like?

Vinyl arrives really nice, nothing comes folded up or broken, vinyl-wise that is, cd's are a different story.

Mine weren't in extra protective packaging just a thin card board box, no bubble wrap. No shrinkwrapping. Jewel boxes smashed.

I did get this service though. I emailed warpbot to add another item to my list and they obliged, they weren't uppity at all or anything, really nice people.

Buy the cd's but have a load of replacement jewel cases. Vinyl comes safetly though. Rusty

I don't think that this is entirely WarpMart's fault. My CDs came to me in excellent condition. Complain to the postal service if anything... As far as the packaging goes... this is the same type of packaging that many of the more popular mailorder "55 CDs for a penny" warehouses use (ie columbia house and all). I think that if it doesn't say 'insured' on the package the USPS just throw the packages around like frisbees. hess
