The Future Primitive SoundSession if an underground multimedia event dedicated to the evolution of hip hop and Dj culture. We have recently been distinguished in both the SF Weekly and the Pacific Sun as the "Best Underground Roving Party in the Bay Area". The upcoming event will feature collaborations by: Liquid Sky/Jungle Sky NYC founding member Dj SoulSlinger along with MC Jamalski. Originally a native of Brazil, SoulSlinger is one of the premier Drum and Bass Dj/ Producers in the United States. His production skills have been highlighted on both the Jungle Sky and Home Entertainment compilation series and recently on Red Hot + Rio (Polygram) and Breakbeat Science (Volume). He has done remixes for Ziggy Marley (Island), Deee-Lite (Electra), Soul Coughing (Warner Brothers) and Dj Spooky (Asphodel). His debut full length album Donít Believe (Jungle Sky) is groundbreaking example of uniquely American style Drum and Bass from the birth place of breakbeat and hip-hop NYC. Another NYC local, MC Jamalski has recently relocated into the Bay Area, establishing himself in the Bay Area Underground hip-hop and drum and bass scenes. His lyrical skills have been showcased on KRS-ONE/ Boogie Down Productions classics "Edutainment" and "World Wide Live Hardcore" albums, The Brand New Heavies classic "The Heavy Rhyme Experience" (Delicious), Dee-Lite's "Infinity Within' and his full length solo project 'Ruffneck Reality" (Columbia).
