Did anyone in the States (or those elsewhere with satellites) catch Nick at Nite's premiere of =The Flip Wilson Show= last night? Midway through Flip's first show (recorded in 1972 or so), I started paying attention when one of his characters named Geraldine spoke the immortal line, "Are we on the air, sugar?" Not two minutes later: "Honey, I got rhythms I ain't even used yet..." Of course, I looked at the liners for "More Beats & Pieces" and found it clearly stated, but it was cool nonetheless. Nick at Nite even used the line in one of their promo commercials. The shows were quite tedious for the most part, but I got another kick when the Jackson 5 performed a medley of "I Want You Back/The Love You Save." Two of the best dancin' singles ever recorded...if that ain't IDM-worthy, I probably know what is... OnNow: Dancin' Machine
