what has anyone heard about a 4-part series of various artist 12"s on ectomorph's interdimensional transmissions label? Rs. the first one has been released and features U-ziq, dj godfather, lecar, and somebody else.. that is all.. their was a review in the maj CMJ not too long ago. just spotted this in magicfeet 016 without permission__ from beyond volume 2 'having already paved the way with previous releases, this label's reputation seems to be set to rise to even greater heights with the 'from beyond' series. artists supplying the electro innovation this time are sluts 'n' strings & 909, flexitone, phoenecia & 4E, and all provide exclusive trax. top honours go to sluts 'n' strings for their slammin', grunged out take on the style where agitated patterns and sounds weave effortlessly in and out of each other, creating more layers than you'd expect to find in an electro track. there's also the added bonus of four locked grooves, three of which work a treat - a case of locate, lock on and wave goodbye to the real world. as far as this reviwer's concerned, this is the best electro release this year.' __until from beyond # 3
