sorry to interrupt the fascinating debate over the merits of different kinds of rotating discs (to preserve the *human* element, i, personally, make my own discs, engraving tinfoil by hand while playing my own rendition of the desired track on the kazoo) [speaking of which, and to break the monotony, can anyone name a single IDM track which employs the kazoo--sampled OR live?] but i have a question about a cd i recently saw: Fridge, "Ceefax" (Output) Is this the same as the Mego Fridge? Does it compare in sound to the Fridge ep on Source? And isn't Output Underdog's label? An' another question: in chicago i saw a 12" sampler from some collaboration album on ninebar (i think), featuring amon tobin, among others. anyone heard the sampler or the cd? worth picking up? again, sorry to derail the conversation. resume the frisbee match. phil

Sounds like you're confusing the _group_ Fridge, who released the "Ceefax" album, with the _titles_ of a couple of MEGO/SOURCE _releases_. General Magic & Pita (Ramon Bauer & Peter Rehberg aka Pita) have two releases entitled "Fridge Trax" (12" - Mego - o/p) and "Live & Final Fridge" (CD - Source). -Patrick np: Bud Alzir - "S/T"
