Right on; that's the attitude to have. This is really what the net is
about for me: people contributing to a greater whole.

Thanks of course for the glowing complements once again. Really I've just
been making sure that I've got good volume levels to tape, and recently
I've not been using any noise reduction. This allows for slightly hotter
levels (I think), and makes the resulting realaudio a bit brighter (less
digital sludge).
Grant mentioned tapes. I guess I'll go ahead and extend the offer to the
already-there realaudio. If there's a set on my website you'd like to have
on tape, I'm perfectly willing to dub copies (provided a blank and maybe a
dollar or two for shipping).
By the way, I thought of a final twist on the idm-mixtape thing: If people
are interested, mail me with a track or two (no more than 3, please) that
you think would be interesting in the mix tonight. Sort of a idm request
line; I can't guarantee anything (I may not have the track, or it might
not fit), but it'll be interesting to see what turns out.
I'm planning right now on using 2 turntables, 2 cd players, a mixer, and
quite possibly a small effects box on the turntables (delay/reverb/etc).
Send those requests on out (to the list or me personally, makes no
difference although it'd be interesting to see the requests others make).
