Apologies to those who tuned in to my show on CIUT 89.5 last night
expecting to hear an interview with Amon Tobin and tracks from his
upcoming album, Supermodified. As you may have noticed, it didn't happen.
Everything seemed to be set yesterday afternoon, but about 10 minutes into
the show, I got a call from Ninja Phil telling me that a combination of
jetlag and late nights had caught up with Amon and he got sick after
dinner last night. (I think it's a curse of some sort for Ninja artists
coming on my show - when Funki Porcini came down last year, he was really
sick as well.) So he decided it would be better to rest up at the hotel
rather than risking getting sicker with the rest of the promo tour ahead
of him.
It's a drag, but what can ya do?
