i know this isn't entirely idm-related, but bear with me for i have
just found an amazing album!
it is miles davis: dark magus. this is not usual miles davis (not
that i don't like usual md). it is a 2cd set of improvisational jamming
by miles and a bunch of other guys involved in jazz & funk.
improvisation in this case means that there was no written music
that they followed at all ;)
the 1st cd, 1st track starts off with breakbeatish drums & then
wahhed guitars & miles playing crazily on his trumpet join in..
it is really unbelievable.. much more funky than his other stuff.
if you like any kinds of funk, jazz (except for smooth ;)), and idm stuff
like squarepusher or ninjatune people, you should check this out!
