there's a new tv commercial for mountain dew with a sped-up version of aphex twin's 'flaphead' + obnoxious 'dew screams looped over it. i wonder how many commercials all told have used his stuff so far. odd. and, look here for a brief laugh.. http://users.skynet.be/sky37626/ late. -anders

I've noticed this. I've also heard it in an TV oil ad. I can't remember the brand but it had a stock car going around a track. Also, I've heard it in a radio ad for Goodyear tires, that's right it isn't Pirelli, Goodyear..... I could almost swear I've heard those drums in the Joyrex Pirelli advert in some other commercial, you know those loud distorted ones...they keep on popping up everywhere... I could blame it on listening to too much Aphex (As of recent I haven't) and I haven't even heard the Joyrex's (only .wav samples) but I know what I'm hearing and it's Aphex everywhere.... <Sarcastic mode on> I think I'm going to switch my Michelin tires with Pirelli's just because of that Aphex Twin song used in their commercials.....te hehe hehe I'm already drinking mountain dew so I guess I'm just a sucker....
