Well, I received my copy of the Stereotype EP today. Lovely. Only briefly skimmed through it so far, but the first track is very nice in a Theme From Ernest Borgnine kind of way, although I think it goes on too long. The rest of the tracks are fairly fast breakbeaty stuff...sorry it's not more informative but as I said i've only looked briefly at it so far. - Ben -- Ben Coffer Hybrid Productions

Ok ok...oops :) So i forgot to write any details about it, it's the catalogue number 1 on a record label called Nothings Clear, it's from 1994 so it's not new. The tracks are: Side A: Whooshki 1994 Side B: O Brien Greenwidth Falling O Brien (darkness) and it's probably a relatively rare record, but it was someone on this list that was selling copies of it. - Ben -- Ben Coffer Hybrid Productions

This an early Squarepusher 12" that....sucks. Seriously it does not sound what you and I know as the 'TJ sound': it's more like early hard acid type rave tracks. if you're a TJ trainspotter get it otherwise save tha cash for Big Loada. Nate On Mon, 28 Jul 1997, Erik Friis wrote:

it's at Modernmusic for $9.99.. heh not much of a reduction, but oh well ;) maybe if you're closer it's cheaper or so, also they have like 20 copies of it, so.. :)

yep. It's like the Universal Indicator records, only it's not as minimalistic and it's a LOT harder.

that's a damn good question.. is it?! coz I remember I was at Modern Music once, and I saw a vinyl that had a top-quality cardboard sleeve, and it said "Squarepusher: Crot EP" on it, but the Rumble EP (as advertised by Modern Music), comes in a white innersleeve only. __ __\ \ / /_\ \ \_____/ www.freq-div.home.ml.org

I ordered the Rumble ep from 4th World... then, I ordered the Crot ep from Modern Music... I happened to mention to pj in my email that it was a damn good week for Tom J buying for me as I was picking up the Rumble ep from 4th World... he mentioned that I was buying the same darn product from him... =) There's just the one listing in Fresh's Tom J discography, which is the same label on my 12", so one has to go under the impression its all the same thing... my $.02 __________________________________________ brap@sonic.net *** sfwd@sonic.net http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ DOT.info.station the.hardcore.outdated.GPO.page c.Gosselin, POBox8264, Santa Rosa, CA 95407

Yes Rumble 1 ezz the Crot Ep. Its a bit confusing because Modern music snatched some of the original pressing at the same time the re-issue came out. They both look slightly different - and one has the nice sleeve and one has the cheapo sleeve. Also, there is another release on the label that looks simillar to the crot ep but is not by tom jenkinson. _____ / ,-,_) /,_) (/ RESH Live & Direct from the G-Spot, Orange County, California, USA http://www1.linkonline.net/fresh/fresh.htm
