a definite ultra-agreement with this review. this album has so many "elements" that other "avant-techno" (couldn't think of a better word. and it sounds kinda cool..)lack. the rhythm programming, and synth "patterns" switch between linear and non-linear sequences which keep things interesting. sorta in a "flux-like" way, but it's not just a bunch of random "cut and paste" movements. actual thought was put into this. if the description sounds a bit confusing, that's because the music is Very hard to "define." hence, it's not definite. (hmmm....clever.) that damn fourier spectrum, chrisTiaN -- "People never touched one another. The custom had become obsolete, owing to the machine." -E.M. Forster, The Machine Stops, 1909
