Re-pressed (vs repressed), really? It ain't that good, why not repress
"Electric Kingdom" or something. This record has years of sleeve wear and
no copyright date, it is hard to think it is a recent repress...maybe that
was the point...plus it was in a pile with Landmark's first LP ('80, the
first Simmons drums I recently learned!) and a YMO record.

I listened again and my comparison is not that valid, because the system
use those funk claps (not oberheim dmx though) and portamento slides. The
System are these funk guys who had one funk-pop hit in '82 called "You're
in my System". I wouldn't bother with this record unless you find an
instrumental dub, in which case you can mix it between Egyptian Lover and
Heaven 17... the vocals are too prevalent.
