could you back this up, please? prodigy sold maybe 200,000 in the u.s. out of the gate -- admirable, but not record-shattering; _wu-tang forever_, for instance, debuted at over 600,000 its first week last month. or are you talking worldwide figures, and if so, what's yr source that it's the fastest selling cd ever? jeff bpm0@interport.net Peter Becker: Retail/Distribution Manager, DJ Pool *Asphodel Records* , PO Box 51, Chelsea Station, NY NY 10113 Phone # (212) 965-0265, FAX # (212) 965-0959 http://www.asphodel.com

Original poster (lost track): Did michael jackson's thriller really sell many *cd's*? read the wording. also, saying fastest selling doesn't mean Greatest Number Sold; that is different. I haven't heard prodigy in the last few years nor more than 2 chem b's songs (thought it sounded like ministry doing breakbeat (ambulance) techno to me, they were from the new b&w cd) who cares anyway? solenoid@europa.com <------+
