Many gifts have come my way lately, offsetting a very strange mid-life confusion. Now this very strange LP has fallen into my hands. Silver Apples. It is two guys who play percussion, sing, and give off these wierd elementary synth lines and atmospheres. Though at first seeming very crude, after a while it becomes wonderfully elemental. Like a variant on Can, but tripping the whole time. I like it. If you have information, please let me have it. The first song is called "Oscillation," and is an ode to oscillating sound! The jacket is metallic silver. Am I the only person who is totally ignorant of these guys "from NY." Charlie James
