I'd agree that if it was sent UPS it should be fine - even on uninsured mail they should be able to track it. And ALWAYS make sure you include a return address. The post office here in Oviedo, FL fucked up and throught that only two people lived here (ie my two roommates but not me). Therefore any mail that was sent to this address in my name was returned with: ATTEMPTED: NOT KNOWN written on it. I have no idea what happened to all the mail that didn't have a return address on it ... Andi.

One can certainly rely on UPS to regularly leave valuable packages sitting unsigned-for on the stoop, behind a bush, or next to the gate. Sometimes they even do it in the rain, which does nothing but add to the fun of receiving an eagerly-awaited shipment of hard-to-find records. -- ::: Lazlo (lazlo@swcp.com; http://www.swcp.com/lazlo) ::: Internet Music Wantlists: http://www.swcp.com/lazlo/Wantlists

UPS throws valuable packages... I know, I helped em load our trucks. They get paid by the hour, just like the rest of us (or at least most of the rest of us) __________________________________________ brap@sonic.net *** sfwd@sonic.net http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ http://www.sonic.net/~brap/dot/ Dot Information Center http://www.sonic.net/~brap/gpo/ The Hardcore Outdated GPO Page stress and bad phonelines... the story of my life
