I just came across 2 copies of Orbital's "Belfast" on Ohzone Records dated from 1991. My friend at the record store says these are part of a limited repressing of 1000. Is this true or is this a mass repressing where everyone and their mother will have a copy? Or did the skies part and I actually happen upon two original copies just floating out there? Just happy to finally get this on vinyl...... \|/ @--out----------*--+what-I-got-in-my-head-you-can't-buy-steal-or-borrow /|\ -Primal Scream --Paul p. "To find your mind, you have to lose it first"

It's a somewhat sketchy looking repress - no mention was made of how limited it was from distributors, but they're charging considerable more for it than normal 12's, so I doubt they'll sell too many. While Chime originally came out on Oh'Zone, that label's been defunct for awhile, and their labels didn't look like those on this new press. AFAIK Belfast was only on vinyl on FFRR, on the 1st album and Satan single originally. (except for that Volume vocal version). Even stranger about this repress is that while Oh'zone was a UK label, there's a New York address on this record. I'd normally think bootleg, but the sound quality's quite good, so maybe it's from the original tapes. I don't know the numbers but I came across 4 copies of this at a Arons Records here in Hollywood. I too was glad to finally get a copy of chime and belfast on vinyl. peace out, brock. np: We - 'as is'

Yeah, DJ Spooky's live shows left a bad taste in my mouth too, but... 'We' is GREAT. This album is some dope ass shit. The CD's been in constant rotation at work since the day I got it and I finally got my hands on the vinyl a few weeks back and have been playing it out quite a bit. The tipsy EP is very good also. I'd give a better description, but I'm kind of rapped up in a private flame war at the moment... :-) peace out, brock. np: Aural Expansion - 'Remixed Sheep'

Chris Sez: It's the dopest shit all year. And, yes, it is the spawn of Soundlab. Ironic, ain't it? -CF
